Waking up for early morning lessons/lectures can be a struggle, especially with how much I love sleep! I find myself looking round the classroom at people who have a full face of glam on, wondering how on earth they had the time. I’ve found a 4-step routine that helps me get ready in a short amount of time, but also gives the illusion that I’m wide awake!

Concealer is very important in my makeup routine, even if I don’t have a lot of time. The Tarte Shape Tape concealer is one of the most hyped about concealers on the internet, and I now know why! The coverage of this formula is insane. Even if I’ve had 4 hours sleep it will cover any dark circles that I have acquired. This concealer retails for £22, however you do have to order it from America which can be a hassle. A cheap Drugstore alternative is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. This retails for around £4 and the coverage in this is equally as good! Of course I use a the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge to blend this out! This is the best beauty blender on the market in my opinion, and one of the cheapest too!

My under-eye area creases like there is no tomorrow. I personally use the Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder, as I feel this is a good drugstore powder and it sets my concealer nicely. I don’t usually have time for foundation when doing my makeup quickly for a lesson/lecture, so wearing concealer and powder is a quick alternative for me.

Brows are a very strong and important feature on everyone’s face. This is why I always make sure my brows look acceptable when doing my makeup quickly. I feel that if your brows look good, it will make everything else look good too. I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer for my brows everyday. The wand is super quick and easy to use, and it comes with a spoolie on the other end to make things even easier.

Picking a mascara that is going to make my eyes look wide awake is very important when I’m up at 7:30am and value my sleep more than my appearance! My all-time favourite mascara is the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (weird name - I know). It curls my lashes while making them thick and luxurious all in one. It gives the effect of false lashes even when I haven’t had time to apply them!
