Matt Hancock MP

Last month, our CEO Richard and our Business Development Manager Louise met Matt in Bury St Edmunds and discussed all things mental health and SL’s Mental Health Ambassador programme. Matt was kind enough to say the folllowing;

“Student Life is a brilliant publication – concise, insightful and packed full of useful information aimed at the student population. Along with their online presence, it’s a great way for Suffolk students to access articles that are relevant to them. I was particularly taken with the section on mental health. We know that students are often affected by mental health issues, and the wealth of features and advice available from Student Life makes it a go-to destination for students”.

ManUp

On the 22nd of June, Richard joined 100’s of men at an event at Copleston High School to raise awareness of men’s mental health. #ManUp helped to normalise the subject and reduce the stigma surrounding men speaking up and speaking out about their mental health.
